Workshops
The Shaolin Kung Fu & Tai Chi Centre organises Shaolin Kung Fu, Chen style Tai Chi and Qi Gong workshops on the principles and forms of these disciplines. Workshops can be organised for corporate clients, primary and secondary schools and organisations. The purpose of this workshop is to give a comprehensive review of Tai Chi and Qi Gong forms. Through a workshop the student will understand breathing techniques, obtain mental focus and learn to strengthen the flow of positive energy ('Chi') through the body in order to completely de-stress and cleanse the body of toxins. Through the slow movements the student will feel a stronger mind and body connection, a deep inner peace and calm as the mind is stilled through the practice of each routine. The training routines in Chen style Tai Chi and Qi Gong can be practiced by all age groups and all levels are welcome. Routines will be practised slowly and adjusted to the students' needs. The student will cultivate a sense of discipline and inner freedom and will begin to feel increasing levels of physical strength and stamina.
